Well, it’s the last day of November, and unfortunately I didn’t make my 2013 In 2013‘s Ultimate Challenge goal of purging 1007 items. I’m not really disappointed though, because I know I’m doing a great job at the rate I’m going, and needing to have a goal to shoot for is just how I roll 🙂 At present, I’ve purged 357 items this month, and I’m good with that 😀 Everything you see here is being donated – some to charity, and some to a local family in need, and that in itself is a wonderful reward!

Mini 2013 In 2013 Goal Realized!
This evening I reached and surpassed my 2013 In 2013 Mini Challenge goal of 168 items de-owned this month!!! I’m gong to continue to work really hard to achieve my Ultimate Challenge goal of 1007 items de-owned by the end of this month :dD I have a long way to go and a lot of work to do, but I’m confident it’ll get done 😀 I’ve been making a lot of donations, which warms my heart, and selling a few things, which helps out the family budget 😀
I’m not a grumpy person, but I’ve noticed that my mood is much lighter, and I didn’t lose my mind when Mike said he invited a friend over, and I only had 20 minutes to tidy up 🙂
This may seem like such a silly thing to blog about, but this is a really challenging issue in my life, and one that has brought me to tears many times. Challenging myself and being held accountable is really beneficial for me 🙂 So thank you for following me in this, and your words of support, advice and encouragement 🙂 It really means a whole lot!
2013 In 2013: UPDATE
I must say, I’m making a pretty good dent in my 2013 In 2013 list 🙂 I’m up to 117 of 168 goal for the Mini Challenge, and hope to surpass that this evening or tomorrow 😀
Play Dough
While in my search for new homeschool material, I came across this list of cool play dough recipes, and wanted to share them with you 🙂 To be honest, I’m not a fan of play dough, but it’s kind of a staple part of being a child, so I’m hoping to try out some of these recipes in the next little while 🙂
Homeschooling
Most people I talked to about the idea of homeschooling my Kailer doubted I would succeed, but I have, and I’m LOVING it! I’ve learned so much during these past few months, but my greatest joy is that of being a part of Kailer’s life as he grows up and learns to be a young man. He’s absolutely brilliant, and it shows in his school work.
Because homeschooling is such a big part of my life, I’ve decided to start another blog – one dedicated to the subject. My new blog is called Feeding Hungry Boys. I encourage you to check it out and give me your feedback 😀
