December Daily

My friend Jen has been encouraging me to create a December Daily scrapbook album.  I wanted to, but felt that I just don’t have the time.  Even though I wasn’t making one, I wanted to, and took multiple pictures per day… just in case 🙂  Well, I’ve decided to go ahead and put one together 😀  I’m going to do a paper album on 12×12 shets cropped to an 8.5×11 size, put them in page protectors, and then into a standard binder.  Then I’ll separate each year with a tabbed subject divider.  Inexpensive and BRILLIANT!!!  I very excited to start on this project 😀

Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution

I learned about this series of videos called Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution, and really enjoyed watching them with my Kailer, so I thought I’d share this with you 🙂

My $8 MCC Trip

IMG_4905I just got home a little while ago from my trip to MCC 😀
I spent $8.00 and got 26 items that would have otherwise cost me $16.25

  • $9.75 for 15 kids items, including 5 pairs of socks
  • $6.00 for 5 ladies’ tops

I got a bunch of infant items for my sister in-law, who will be having her baby in the next few weeks, and 2 Elmo rompers for my Kayden.  I’m very content with my purchases 🙂

Upcoming Childcare

My plan was to begin doing childcare in the autumn, when Kaleb begins Kindergarten, but due to upcoming changes in our finances, Mike and I have agreed that I can begin in January.  I’m pretty pumped about it, as I’ve missed the dynamics that other children add to our day 🙂  I’m beginning with one child, and the part-time spot has actually already been spoken for.  The toddler who will be joining us is the little sister of 3 children I babysat 10 years ago, which is really special for me 🙂  This is just one more reason for me to get my house it tip top shape 😀

2013 In 2013 – December 1

You may be getting tired of my 2013 In 2013 posts, and the good news is that I’m almost done 😀  I have 1655 left to puge, and a daily goal of 53 items.  That’s a huge task, but I’ll continue to work hard and do my very best.  We’re all noticing the improvement at my house, and that’s a giant compliment 😀  Even though I began this as my own little project, knowing that I’m honoring and pleasing my Mike with my efforts is such a good feeling.  This project has had so many benefits, and affects far more people than I ever thought it would 🙂
