Today’s Combating-Tiredness To-Do List

Standard

I’m noticing that my energetic steak is nearing its end, and I’m wanting to nap again.  To combat this, I’m doing some heavy-duty cleaning today, so that if and when I need to nap, I can do it with a clear conscience, knowing that I’ve gotten things accomplished and deserve a rest 🙂  So yes, I’m making a to-do list for today, and here it is:

Entrance

  • vacuum & mop the floor
  • declutter

Living Room

  • declutter
  • vacuum & mop the floor

Dining Room

  • declutter
  • vacuum & mop the floor

Bathroom

  • declutter
  • do laundry
  • vacuum & mop the floor

Kitchen

  • declutter
  • do dishes
  • make coffee
  • vacuum & mop the floor

It looks like a bit of a daunting list, but my house isn’t really a mess, so I’m guessing it’ll take me about 3 hours to get everything done the way I want it.

Annual Word

Standard

As many of you know, each year I ask God for an annual word.  It’s just something between He and I that prepares me and gives me direction for that year.  Last year  it was Sweet.  This year my word is PURPOSE.  It’s broad yet directional, and I like it.  It also kinda feels like a turkey dinner when I was just looking for a snack, but we’ll go with it, and see where it takes me as a mother, a wife and as a woman 🙂

101 In 1001 List Refreshed

Standard

Good morning all, and Happy New Year!  It sounds so totally cliche, but I enjoy making new year’s resolutions – in fact, goals in general.  For this reason, I’ve decided to restart my 101 In 1001 List, and focus it more on my family.  So that’s what I’ll be working on today.  If you haven’t already, I encourage you to make a 101 In 1001 List as well.  It’s a great way to do things you’d like to on purpose 🙂
